Untitled - ON SALE

Originally this was a drawing that I made when I was frustrated and furious after fighting with my boyfriend. But I made it into a painting for my 20th century art class.
I was interested in what I could produce under the influence of rage, so in a way, this is a self portrait. I guess the whole point behind this was to try and express the emotions I was feeling at that moment, rage, fragility, vulnerability, and a bit sexually aroused. This piece is unfinished since I never finished the drawing when I was mad, but I like it more this way. I think it brings a bit more mysteriousness to it. I also tried using Impressionistic brush strokes, but I didn't really execute them that well, so I just ended up smooth and scribbling instead. Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

Materials:
About 16x20 inches on cardboard
Painted on tracing paper for a nice ripple grungy effect
Will include a nice black hand made shinny frame
Acrylics
Silver Sharpie
